Hello! I have a questions *well duh lol*
Ok so I want to make a squar unit of 48x48 pixels. But I keep thinking of them as well, squars. So I go to draw up my pixel grid and to my surprise I don't know how to draw it! I'm very new to isometric pixel art ^-^. Thanks for the help!

Oh i get what you mean.
Jalonso would be the one to talk to about this, but i guess you just make isometric lines, 48 pixels long each way.. right? That's such a lame explanation, i hope you find a better answer lol.

That is correct Larwick. 48 across and 24 high is a 48 tile.

2 pixels together 12 times going down, 12 times going up then repeat in reverse :D

yay thank you very much both of you ^_^. Ok Here it is, it took me a while to figure out... but here it is =D http://zullala.deviantart.com/art/48-by-24-64606002

You see my Husband is making a game and he wants it to be in isometric. Each one of his map tiles is 48 by 48 pixels. so i figured I would want an isometric grid of those specs so that anything I make would look proportionally correct in his game ^^... Though i have never done isometric before and I'm not even that good at drawing  (O_O)... so i hope he's not expecting too much form me lol.

Well that grid is a 48x48 tile but only the floor. The tile itself is 48x48 as a cube in 3D space. You need 2 of those one on top of each other and 'cubed' to make your game tile (48px high). These you can stack as you or your husband commands you to do ;)

You got it.
You do need to stay within the tile or programming the tiles will be a nightmare. If you want any overhang any area outside the tile is part of another tile.
Plan ahead!!!

Oh ok! Yeah I need to redo that then. Cuz some of my blocks overlap. I think that's an easy fix though. *jumps back into her photoshop* LOL I'm not doing the programing so I don't know much about how make it program friendly =3. But My Husband said he would teach me how to program an isometric mapper =D=D YAYS. I'm excited ^_^.
