Heres a wip im doing

this is the sketch i made of it





i need to know how to shade the tombstone.
dont worry the sky is a gradient for now it will be removed later.

Are you using that dither brush mode thing you mentioned earlier? I don't know how it works but I'm pretty sure it qualifies as cheating and being lazy. You really should place every pixel yourself if you're planning on submitting this to the PJ gallery.

Anyway, pay attention to the light source. The moon is far away in the sky, yet the shading on the arm and hand seems to come from our left.

no the dither brush is in graphics gale and it only creates this type of dither :

0101010101010101
1010101010101010

this was done on phototshop
the gradient in the sky was done on pro motion.

yes this was done pixel by pixel... i understand now that pixel joint doesnt accept dither brushes. It will never happen again.

Why the hell would you use both Photoshop and Pro Motion if you're doing everything pixel by pixel?

its waaaay too big... 100x175 would be big enough i think... but might be a nice idea to make...
