I need a graphic artist for my newest project, Galava (galava.net). This is a medieval style browser based multi player game. The game entered development between two to three months ago, and is slated for release in early 2008.

The original hired graphic artist for Galava has been MIA for roughly two weeks. I'm scouting for a possible replacement, as I'm not sure when/if he will be back (this isn't the first time he has disappeared for an extended period of time, and frankly it's making it difficult to get work done).

So, as it is now, I'm looking for someone who meets/understands the following criteria:

- You must like Medieval Artwork.

- This is a paying job, but that is not your only reward. This will look great for resumes and your name will be near the top of credits list. Thousands of players have played my other browser based games, and many more will play Galava.

 - You must be willing to spend up to 30 minutes on the phone every 1-2 days, probably more (especially at the beginning). VOIP is an acceptable substitute.

- You must be proficient as a pixel artist, you must embrace the .gif format, and your artwork needs to look something like the following graphics (unless you feel apt to re-doing them in your own, similar style):

And for larger images, here are some rough sketches for units/buildings:

If you feel you are up for the job, or know someone who is, I will require the following sent via email to Sandrob57@gmail.com:

- Any artwork to showoff your ability

- Please remake the following icons in 40x40, so I can get a feel for your style:

Forest:

Mountains:

- Also, try getting me a sketch of a castle on a hillside in based off of the style of this image (color prefered, and a more solid outline [no sketches]):
