High Poly 3D Modeling / Texture Artist

 

Calling all Awesome 3D Modeling / Texture Artists!

 

Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, is seeking High Poly 3D Modeling/ Texture Artists to join their existing talent pool. Qualified candidates will link up with imaginative design teams to create packs for hot new game titles, fulfilling a wide range of genres from hardcore action to casual simulation.  Previous hit games include LOST, Dogz, Brain Challenge, Gangstar, Asphalt: Street Rules and Brothers In Arms: Earned in Blood 3D. Current games in development include titles based on popular movies/ television shows like Live Free or Die Hard, Shrek The Third and Heroes. As a key member of the development team, you’ll take charge of all 3d artwork for packs and visuals of our games as well as game conception.

 

 

Must-haves/ know-how:

·         Be on top of your game

·         Love video games inside & out

·         Proficient in 3D Max

·         Proficient in Photoshop or other 3D software

·         Proficient with rendering tools such as Vray/Mental Ray/Brazil/Maxwell.

·         Ability to create realistic and detailed textures

·         Ability to model and texture complex and high-rez scene.

·         Good sense of volume, lighting and materials

·         Strong sense of optimization working with varied technical constraints

·         Ability to work as a team player with designers, developers and producers

 

You’ll earn brownie points if you have:

·         Former work experience on 3D games in PS1 or DS

·         Former work experience on creating 3d artwork for game packs

·         Background in illustration

·         Specialty in 3D graphic design used as the basis for 2D and compatible platforms
