	http://www.thunderbolts.info/tpod/2006/image06/060227comet.jpg Tail needs to be longer, the comet needs to be translucent (dither for this) the lil'... whatever you call them in the front of the comet need to go. Otherwise, great colors.

	A Comet's tail get's smaller near the end.

	The colors are good choices. Seems to me this is all about smoothing and fading the tail out. I think this is a job for Super Ditheran.

	I did a very quick example and is ony intended to show you an easy way to go from color A to color B.
