I think this needs more contrast and shading to define the shapes, right now it's a bit difficult to tell what's going on.  Posting your reference pic (if any) would be helpful so we'd know what the Northern Crab Spider looks like

I actually found and identified the spider in my yard, and just sketched the pose I found him in.  But here is a pic of a similar species that has the same body shape.
