I would like to simulate a 3D world with pixel art.
The program should be able to rotate. For the rotation I'm going to use tiles where I draw the point of view in the 4 corners. The program should also be able to give diffrent views in vertical (kind normal and bird perspective) Here I'm stuck. Can anyone help me? |

No such thing, you must draw all angles...one pixel at a time

I think the question is how you can simulate a 3D world with predrawn pixel art graphics (no perspective); as the camera angle changes a differently-shaped tile is used and the position relative to the origin is also changed. Maybe you could show/tell us more specifically what you have/need help on, Cele?

![]() I kept the tiles the same width and drew some angles. But I have difficulties working with them. How do I draw a tree on it, or a sprite, etc... |

you will never get the result what you wanted, especially if this is the first time you are going to work with a 3d prorgam.

I'm just going to use javascript to load picture after picture.
I'm not going to work with a 3D program.
I want a 3D LOOK with rotation and bird perspective and normal perspective.
I need to do everything from a difrrent angle.
I have difficulties drawing in perspective.
There I would like some help.

My two cents:
It can work if you select ONLY 4 (or another maximum, better be small :) ) view points. The 4 viewpoints that you have shown could work. There are 'only' 4 vertical rotations that you would be handling. Whatever amount of tiles you select, there will be lots of work. But people already told you that, and if you are still want to try I would suggest to use a 3d program. No, no don't go away. Use a 3d program to show you what happens to spheres interacting and rectangles, triangles etc. Study all four view points with these objects. Watch how the perspective is different. Then combine some of them. Why not a rectangular with a circle on top. It could be a start of a tree and maybe even a character. After you have studied the different positions you can work from there. Use them as a reference together with looking (or maybe making your own) reference pictures with that angle. Start simple because you will find it hard. Please, please share some of these experiments, in for example the WIP section as Jalonso has suggested, since I am really looking forward to some of this work! Best regards from M.E. |
