you get a 140 x 140 box divide it with two colors in half diagonally, then resize it horizontally or vertically so the way you resized is one pixel thick and voila gradient ala MSpaint

it doesnt matter what canvas sises you use btw. you can make a gradient of 2314x134 or summin like that too.
you can use the bezier curve instead of straight lines too etc etc.

Ah, but I'd say that's more of a creative use of the pixel-imperfect resizing.

Any gimp users here know if there is any way to force a global tool context?
It really gives me the sh*ts when I switch between mouse and stylus only to find I'm drawing with the wrong tool, brush, colour or what not. |
