btw, do we have to use all the colors. Probably not. I never knew that Vista palette was way prettyer for your eyes! EDIT: 120x240 is a bit weird for a landscape.. can we use 240x120 too? Edited by Lollige - 26 November 2007 at 12:57am |

It says you can have it landscape/portrait so i guess you can have it 120x240 or 240x120.
I'm stuck for ideas on this!

I'm going to try and do a field scene with a tree and a fence and probably something else when i get there. Nothing too complicated as im new to pixels.
EDIT: So heres where i am so far, you can tell how noobish i am at the moment.

I added a stream and a rock for the water to splash onto, but any ideas for the field on the right. As long as you dont say some kind of animal; I'm gonna keep them out of the pic.

My general comment for this challenge is to focus on using the colors creatively. Seems at the moment all WIPs have colors used as you would expect them to be. Club Beuker has the most inspired color use so far.

![]() It's really big right now, i will take the square and flip it so it's 120 X 240. I'll change it so it looks like it's bleeding, but i'm wondering on the dithering, and the shape of the eye. |

This demon is called Nurgle - lord of corruption, chaos and decay.
The angel is injured. She will be eaten by the Nurgle lord and it's an offering from the chaos worshipers. Chaos consume us! |

Wait... don't say... In the rules it's said "120x240" not 240x120. So? Usually we dont say 600x800, but 800x600, not 480x640, but 640x480. Width x height.
Am I right? ![]() |

Yes, but then it qualifies it with "landscape/horizontal". Makes a lot of sense.

It's rather senseless. Talking about sense: saying 240x120 is enough if you want landscape. If you want vertical you say 120x240. Words : "120x240 landscape" are bizarre and without logic sense.
So, afterall... My contribution is correct or not? |

In the US 120x240 is read as landscape but in other places, for example Serbia, its read as portrait. We spell it out to avoid confusion but failing I guess. |

jalonso - 120x240 is read as "portrait" here in the US as well
x by y - it should be universal given that's the math standard. I had started this challenge in portrait view as well. Might we abandon that "landscape" rule due to the unclear nature of it? |
