Hi there,
My name is Tony and I work for 1st And 10 Studios LLC, we are a indie game development studio focusing on the Windows PC market. We are in the need for a pixel artist to do character illustrations and animations for us on a project basis. We are currently accepting bids for our current project, which is an unannounced american football title. We have 3 more games in our pipeline so our hope is that we can find an artist that we like and can establish a relationship with to retain over the lifetime of all 4 projects. We are currently accepting samples & bids from artists both independent and firms. Since we are indie we would rather choose an independent artist to give back to the indie community thus the reason why we are posting on these forums and others as well. The chosen artist or firm will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and a legal contract giving all copyrights and ownership to 1st And 10 Studios LLC of any media that exchanges hands during the project. All pixel art characters will need to be 72dpi and in 32px x 32px frames. We need a combination of animations and single frame illustrations in all 8 directions. Here is a list of animations & illustrations (will need to be done in all 8 directions): Single frame illustrations
(All animations need to be 4-6 frames, we leave the preference to the artist)
A much more detailed spec list will be sent to the chosen artist/firm once a contract is in place but this is a near complete list of what we need. We will also need animated cut scenes for certain events in the game but those can be done later in the development process. If you are interested please choose one of the single frame illustrations listed above and one of the animations and send a sample as a sprite sheet to tony@1stand10studios.com w/ your bid on the project included. We are more than willing to setup a pay schedule with the chosen artist to deliver payments at certain points in the process when things are delivered to us. If you have any questions please feel free to send them to the email listed above. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you. |
