People should stop thinking that time is the forth dimension. Time is not a spatial axis. It IS the fourth dimension in the "space-time" model however. People are still trying to make Newtonian physics and quantum physics friends breaking it down to a science known as string theory. I'm reading a book on it and I find it very very interesting, basically if I'm following correctly all objects can be broken down into the same elements called strings. These go beyond the four universal forces.
If anyone is interested in theoretical physics I would advise the work by Michio Kaku he makes higher level concepts palatable to the common man and even the average Wal*mart shopping (redneck). His radio show is also quite good. I wish it was possible to see a hypercube in 3 dimensions but sadly we can only see 2d projections of a 3d projection of a 4D object.

I used to work for a wal*mart as some might remember. It was pure hell.
I wanted to rip the cell phones out of customers' ears, smash them into the ground, then grind them into the tiles beneath my foot. Nothing like some jobless bastard talking on a cell phone while you are stuck ringing up their free tax funded food.
