I am still trying to figure out your crappy site. You cannot host images, though your users claim you are an art gallery. You do not have an easy way to post finished images.

The process as I understand it at the moment is that user posts sh*tty lineart image in WIP. People critique it rightly or wrongly. Work grows into a finished work, and then some powerful person on "Pixel Art" which probably means yourself, decides it is ready for the front page. There are enough brilliant artists here that you do not consider good enough for the front page. I believe that this is a failing o your part, not a failing on the artists part.

Where do I post a finished work for the front page? Do I have to host the image myself, because no image hosting site guarantees full ownership of art hosted. Every licence agreement can and does get changed without notice. There has been one case where one large hosting company DID steal the copyright ownership of artists and photographers. Do you REALLY believe that I will put any real time into a piece of art or animation and run a risk?

Sorry that you believe that I am a NooB. Considering, that even before I was professionally trained by one of Disney's greats, I had already been published in three computer magazines, one of them, the largest computer magazine in the UK at the time, gave me a two page spread in the front of the magazine. And only after I was published, I got good!

So if you want me to leave here and tell people that Pixel Joint is full of children who live in a fantasy land of what it was like for artists in the 80's and early 90's, then I will be happy to.
