Hello, welcome to PJ
If you look at the stickied topics in this forum, you'll find threads containing many links to help you get started with pixel art, including Software for Pixel Art and Pixelart Tutorials.  Good luck!

Realism in pixelart is exactly the same as realism in all art. Only the techniques differ. Learn the pixelart techniques here from us. The realism comes from many places, books, other sites, anatomy drawing sites etc.
You take the two and put them together, add patience and...TA-DA.

ps: You may choose to specialize in one form of pixelart over another (nothing like that 8-bit FF1 stuff ) but since the techniques are the same I wouldn't put down one form over another so that you get the most help possible...just advice : )

Nothing official, PJ is a collection of community finds. You will need to dig, but you will find it, for sure.
Use the search button it can be very helpful.

If you want to be able to draw realistic pixelart you'll have to first be able to draw realistically anyway, basically as jalonso said. Studying from life would be my suggestion.
You should start simple when doing pixelart, in my opinion. Perhaps make a sprite or general pic of an apple or something (from life or using a reference) in 64x64 (the avatar size here).

PS. Jaeden heavily references to make her realistic drawings, i would suggest not to aim down this path.

There's not a tutorial that gives a step by step lesson on drawing realistically - look around you and draw what you see.  There's no set list of rules that if you follow you'll be drawing realistically.

Post an image that you're working on in the WIP forum, and we can help lead you in the right direction.  I'm sure you'll get a lot more out of 'customized' critique than a tutorial (though those are very helpful, so keep looking at those as well)
