Message

   Hi everyone.
I'm working on Sid lately.
I wanted to make it for the latest cahllenge, but the palette limitation is way too difficult for me.
So I decided to post it over here, and get some C&C

Well, enough talking, this is what I've got so far;

Well, if you look at my other pixelarts, this is the best.
But I'm still working on it, and I can use your C&C!

	If you are doing it for the challenge there is no Animated movies allowed. But as i understand the pallette is to hard. Just wanted to make sure you know if you were still going to enter. Edited by Kee - 23 January 2008 at 4:23pm

	I would outline the eyes a bit more near the bottom, add some stray tufts of hair that don't look as "solid"... Wonders if she is actually helping See in the reference picture Hatch posted? On his right (our left) arm, you can see the sky through some of his fur. Even if you don't have a background, make the white visible through some of his fur/the pixels. (Not in the middle of his arm/body but around the edges.) Hope I helped at all. ^^;;

	Wow, I just love the furry texture of the arm. And it looks just like Sid! The shading and everything just rocks, I wish I was as good as you. Can't wait to see the finished product.

	Hmm sort of looks like the ice thing is coming through his neck, which I first found out it wasn't when I saw the reference....

	@Shrub, ty @Elwin, oh okay, er.. I'm gonna make it more clearly after finishing the fur, or isn't that a good idea? Well, this is what I got so far; I still got some probs with the blending. (That dark brown and the lighter one in the middle, you can see it in the armpit ^^)

	You're doing great on the fur! The fluff you added looks a little too uniform, though. Try to mix it up and don't be afraid to have the tips of the loose fur meet in some places.

	Thanks alot! Is the mouth a little bit too flashy or something? And does anyone have an idea how to do that ice thing? EDIT; I forgot his eyebrows; I'm gonna change it asap! 	That looks really awesome. :D Are you going to have a background? Because you can see through ice somewhat, unless it's full of air, and in the ref it looks rather clean. ;) I would definitely not have a black outline once you're done. Make a background first, or else any work on the ice will pretty much be pointless (unless you can somehow pull that off...)

	Sorry about the air comment; I meant the ice... If it's full of air, it looks white rather than kind of clear. Add some faint clouds, maybe, to the background? It's looking awesome. :D

	Yeah make it blend in with the sky. And when you get close to finishing show a mountain peak as sid is in the mountains

	OMG! loll i love that icicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but yesss the background is a little too plain to think it is done. sid, now he is done but OMG that icicle is kick-booty!

	You did an awesome job on the icicle. Grins I'd either add more to the background (clouds like I said, or a moutain peek), or scale it down. Very well done. ^^

	I like the new background better. I personally like the clouds, but it's up to you whether or not to keep them. ;)

	Okay, thanks Bluwriter :d Little edit on the icicle, it more looks like it distorted te fur and that stuff ^^ Well, now I'm busy with those mountain peaks, but I think that shading is a little bit difficult ^^ But whatever, I'm gonna try it :d
