If you look at Shigeru Miyamoto's Mario it is MUCH more anime-ish? than the current design.

In the US the fourth season starts Thursday night. In the UK it's apparantly on February 3. It's probably gonna take a while before it hits the Netherlands, so I'm just going to download it. |

I'm not sure in Gantz whether it's purely 'fanservice' or just the general attitude of the story and theme. I think the latter. As silly as it is, the bewbs and stuff sortof helps convey the personality of the main char quite well. >_>

If photography is art then what happens when a photographer has taken a photograph of sombody elses photograph at a slightly different angle. Who has made art? If a photographer makes art by smapling an image at a variable angle and variable lighting then the second photographer too has made art.

But, yes, greenraven got it right. That's what fanservice is, and I am usually not amused by it. I tend to lean towards gender ambiguous anime/manga, really. But, I'll have to look a little more into Gantz before I actually go and... find it. Also, lol @ the Slayers novels. ): From behind me, I sensed a presence emerging, and I hurriedly looked back, only to find a flaming sphere hurtling between my eyes. "Waah!" Raven, the similarities are minimal, but yeah, the lower part of the face is kind of close. But think that the only way something won't look remotely close than something else would be discovering a new color, and inventing new shapes. |

I just downloaded the trial of the Xbox Live Arcade version of Metal Slug 3 and oh dear lord you can't turn off the 'improved' graphics filter. Also I encountered quite a few frame rate drops.
