OK here's the deal I'm putting together a team to make a hombrew fighting game for the NDS and i need artists! i do plan on presenting this to the company CAPCOM as soon as its done and its a "success" you will obviously get paid$_$(idk how much yet but  it depends on the success of the game) as you've probably guessed it will only feature capcom fighters!
i do have some layouts but, it is only for member eyes only!!

And what exactly will you do? I think you need to make your post more attractive, it sound very non serious to me :/. Like someone dreaming about doing big stuff but only seems to go as far as dreaming about it.. Are you a game designer or something? I hate people who talk about giving money to people if they've done a good job when they don't do sh*t them selfs... how about focusing on making a good game rather than a money making success?

Making games isn't easy business dude.. what makes you think It'll become a success?

This is reality:
Step 1: Gather a team of people who actually can do something.
Step 2: Finish a LOT of hard work.
Step 3: Get very little or no money in return of all that work.
Step 4: Congratulations, you have just made a game, and that it self is more of a reward than anything else.

People might not think so, but to bad for them, because if you want to earn money of a game you have to be really good at making them, and to be good at making them, you can't be motivated by money.. of course, crappy games still sell very good these days.

I'm not saying you should give up, but try turning those dreams into goals. Ask yourself: "do i love video games enough to spend my life making them?", And prove so by taking part in the creation.

So I'm asking you again.. what are you going to do?

well said my friend, well said...

I've worked on a couple games in the past few years, did it for the love of creating art not for money. AND they turn out better that way, because players want something to play that is fun, and unless you have fun making it...well I personally believe anything you create is a reflection of the state of mind it was created in.

Money = greed. Greed = bad!

Making games for money = bad game!

Love = Good. Good = Good!

Making games for the love of it = GOODX2~!

Yay! Lollipops!

I can say from experience that if you're looking to become succesful in the computer/video gaming industry, you havn't got a clue. First, it's obvious that you havn't really looked into what it really means to develop a game. Second, just by the way you stated everything, you're probably not even 18 yet.

What you have to understand is that dreaming is great. But dreams don't make success stories and there are very few success stories in the computer/video gaming world. The only way to get rich or make any sort of decent money in this industry is to own one of the goliath companies. Clearly that's not going to happen.

Finally, if you're looking for programmers, you're in the wrong place. I happen to be a programmer but that's just sheer coincidence. Also, I would highly recommend against posting something like this on any programmer forums like GameDev or CProgramming -- the response you get won't be very friendly and you're likely to get warnings from the moderators at best (banned at worst).

My suggestion to you, if you really want to create games to sell, you need to lose whatever fantasy you have in your mind and do some serious research (e.g., the fighting game genre is a [mostly] dead breed for the home-consumer market... it only really works with the arcade market and that's going the way of the dinosaurs also). You should also look into what makes a good development team. Only then will you have some idea and be even remotely prepared for the task of developing a game, especially a game for a closed-arcitechture platform (NDS).

P.S.
I forgot to mention: Going to Capcom with a homebrewn game on a closed system isn't going to get you anything but laughed at... and quite possibly a giant citation from Nintendo. Be careful what you do.
