I'm kinda working on a tentative top-down racing game (for my girlfriend, to start off with, and then I hope to improve it a bunch and release it more publicly). The top car is hers, and the bottom is mine, but I got the bottom reference photo from www.toworegon.com/94escort.html. Do the sprites seem accurate enough? These are more or less finished, but I plan on making quite a few more and posting them here once I get reference photos from my other friends. :)

I just saw an exelent top down sprite of a car that would be a great reference on how to do these sprites in wolverine's gallery. try to give 'em a look, as now they do look quite accurate, but the colors are way too similar. fewer colors with better contrast, higer saturation and no dithering would give them more defition and definively make them look better and more sexy
