First time ill use "Just bored" as an excuse for one of my pieces...i was just playing around with lighting and stuffz the bg will be trans, just a place holder....tell me what-chu think
This is also color selection practice for me too so any cc on that in particular would be helpfull too :D

Pull back and focus on volumes and depth. Your shading is all over the place with an inconsistent light source and you're jumping ahead to skin texture. Just really really focus on volumes and depth. Break everything down into simple shapes and shade in the most straightforward way possible; no skin texture, no wrinkles, just basic smooth shapes with clear levels of depth. Once you've got that absolutely perfect, then you can texture till the cows come home. Also, a note about your speculars: in many (most?) cases it's appropriate not to buffer them at all. Try it and see.
