   Yay! I made my first tree, but I think it's not quite right. Any tips?

	Your tree looks wuite ok, but there are a few things that you could improve on. It seems that the roots need a little more shape and depth (You only see roots on the sides and a bit to the front, and they look like round stumps on the bottom) If you look at a tree, you see that the branches and leafs are not a sealed and solid part, And are most of the times not so perfectly round. Also, the leafs have a very odd shape (a bit like leafs from a pal tree, bhut then smaller and put together on a normal tree). I do like the palette you used, it looks nice and colourful

	Thanks for your reply. I changed the roots, but I didn't bother changing all the leaves, though I made some new and more realistic ones. This is the current version:

	Indeed it is not, and has already 97 different colors, how did that happen? Also I couldn't resist making this to prove that the leaves don't all have to be very detailed to make a decent tree. (nevermind the treetrunk.) Or even better take a look at this screen from TLoZ: Minish Cap Now im not telling you to do the whole thing over, just saying it doesn't have to be stuffed with leaves. 	Also chose your light source… right now your leaves a re bright from left while your roots are dark on that side… how’s that possible? (...atleast I think so....) Edited by Sabata - 25 February 2008 at 5:43am

	Sorry, I forgot to add the NPA tag to the topic title. (If a moderator could add it please.) It's created with photoshop and made to look like pixel art. I also saved it to JPEG and then converted it to a PNG by a mistake, so that is the problem for the colors. Nevermind, I made the lighting better, fixed the colors and I'm working with the leaves. (The image is meant to view in 2x)
