I like the designs, but the sprites do not have the Pokemon look. The colors are too smooth, and you need more selective outlining. The one on the left has an akwardly thick tail, and you should fix the left arm (our left) on the right sprite, as it looks like it's in an uncomfortable position.

What's keeping purple-boy's front end off the ground? He's horribly overbalanced- make that tail meatier and it might look more 'realistic'. Other than that, though, it looks like a solid design. Except for the inherent unrealistic head, but that's okay.

Also, I think a fashion-model pose (green-boy) isn't what you're after, if these are Monstrous Beings. Where are the spikes on green's head coming from- the 'vines' don't bulge very much, and the middle one is swung pretty far forward to have nothing behind it. And where is his neck? His shoulders are quite a ways down the body from his head. Finally, I think you've gone awry somewhere with that design- a flabby, kirby-ish lower body doesn't match up well with beefy arms and a dangerous headdress.
