Kay. I've spent about two hours on this, and I'm challenging myself even further by not basing this off anything I know to exist. Normally I do my art based off a reference that's in the exact pose I need and go from there. For this, the only references I've used are the ones that show up when you google "Horse's ass".

The rest should be from my head.

Squire palette, the general idea is that the Squire is carrying the horse is carrying the knight. And the horse is bored out of its mind.

I'm open to any comments, as I'm failing on a number of aspects, here.

its kinda hard to see what the end product will be like? great idea though!

The gy carrying the horse seems to have a bit too shrt of legs? And it would be cool to see the rest of the knight
got game?

Gotta say, I love the concept.  That being said I would go with a more cartoony feel for the piece.  Sort of irreverent if you know what I mean? :|

Failed completely and utterly. Palette restrictions are not for me, at least not at this point in time. I've got other stuff I can wrap my head around, first.

You're welcome to rip it apart, but I don't plan on making this piece happen, anymore.

An' pixelspy, no idea what you mean on the irreverence of it all :O

Toootal noob, check it out:

Be your own worst enemy. Jalonso has had several decades to hone his self-critiquing ability, and that is why he can produce such great and massive pixel arts. He makes something, and when he gets stuck with something, he stops and takes a look at it. He says to himself:

"Jalonso, what is wrong with this piece? What don't you like about this piece of artwork? Is it within my technical grasp to fix?"

If Jalonso says no, it isn't within his technical grasp to fix, then he gives up and submits it to his gallery? NO! That crazy old bug TRIES ANYWAYS! Know why? Because practice is the cure-all for sh*tty artistry. Practice practice practice, draw draw draw. And have a little love for your work. Make it the best that it can be, not just okay.

Bahahahaha Jal, hate your guts :(

I don't believe it's within my technical grasp to make an adequate piece using that palette and those lines. But I tried anyways (Twice, actually. That one shown was pixelled purely by greyscale values then substituted the actual palette in) and continued to fail.

To satisfy the great bug, I may just have to finish this piece without crazy palette-ness. Eventually.

I think this is really good so far. The subject matter made me laugh when I saw it
