I thought some of you might get a kick out of this. My roommate came home today with computer he bought at a garage sale for $5.00 US. He took it apart this evening to check out it's guts, and found this:

o__O Has anyone ever heard of Predators shoing up on motherboards? I mean, we're a very computer-heavy household, we should be called 'The House of Tech' instead of 'The House of Yes', but none of us have ever heard of such a phenomenon.

one of ours had it on there, too...

I was a lot younger when I saw it, so it kinda freaked me out.. haha

yeah, it's strange... I haven't heard much about it.  I think that particular machine might still be around, we might've given it to the church or something..  I'll check and see if I can get a picture of it.

Neat little references are pretty common in motherboards (usually little funny texts), but I never seen anything like a huge predator stencil O_o

Nice! Get the board model for us

Haha, nice find. There's a website with lots of those hidden images on computer parts... but I can't remember where it was  I'll do a quick Google search...

I remember seeing something that said "Bill sux" on it, of course refering to Mr. Gates

A slight bump here but whos keeping score. Just had to say, lot's of hardware developers tend to put this in most motherboards, or anything that is silicioninonienindinededdd chipped. Just their little way of saying... "Hey, if you can read this, you're too close" heh.

There was a thing about this on the T.V. a while back, there was an embossed image of smily face or something i don't actually remember, yet it was micro-scopic. Don't ask me how they found it in the first place :S

I've never been good at those 'find waldo' books.  but after several years and a really powerful microscrope, I finally found him!  It seems that he didn't like being in books anymore and decided to make a new home in my computer.

j/k - but this is by far the funniest one i've seen so far (below)
