Sheesh i thought it was the 6th of september as the date here is day/month/year. Anyway happy birthday, I made you a cake. You can only have one piece after all, it was I who made it.

A brief discussion will be held at Pixel_Outlaw's house tonight. I wish to formally discuss how we may better out school system by modeling it after Italian Renaissance ideals. There will not be simple regurgitation of trivial information by students. Instead they will be taught basic principals then asked to apply them to their interests.
Please provide your own refreshments.

I do believe that a good educational system is created inside each school's own reality. trying to force an universal system, for the whole system is nothing but an utopic attemp to create superhumans based on ideals. true is that with globalization individuals get more and more individualized, so the the way to approach to an student is not with a book of rules but with empathy and maturity. almost everyone got a 'favourite teacher', and that one is always the badass mother ofok who knew it all and was always there to help you.

I don't fully understand what you are getting at Metaru. People should strive to specialize in everything. Compartmentalizing knowledge is for people who are too lazy to learn. "subjects" Are just imposed boundaries (which do not really exist). They have been created in order to offer an out to the student. This is the reason why you have English teachers saying idiotic things like I don't "do" math well because I'm an English teacher. You can be good at everything, you just have to be willing to fail, feel bad about it and try again. Many men will never push the boundaries of modern science simply because mommy told them just to be a doctor.

Hey all, just wanted to inform you the Court Records Phoenix Wright/Ace Attorney OC contest has just opened for voting.
http://www.court-records.net/occontest08.htm Although most of the entries in the sprites division are edits (I know SilentBobX and I both made ours from scratch), I would vote anyways, to help support these up-and-coming pixelartists. If this is offtopic somehow, you can delete it. (this is the offtopic thread however) And, um, don't get the wrong idea from this. I don't care whether you vote for me or not, I just want to stir up the interest of more 'knowledgable' pixelartists, so the votes aren't completely based on 'lol this looks cool' |

If you mean, is it my entry, yes, I go by Seka on the CR forums.
If you mean, does it follow the rules of the contest, yes, it does. We were allowed to mess around with the existing PW/AA backgrounds, use transparency, etc, to achieve a realistic game effect if we attempted to make a screenshot.
I have the non-edited version in my PJ gallery, as well.

I believe you mean Ballos, Nikujin is the name of the Timer :P
in any case, defeating that big Emoball was one of the greatest achievements in my gaming life, followed by collecting all the 7 emeralds and beating bowser in World 8-4. p.s: oh yes, and performing a perfect hadouken was somewhere between the emeralds and bowser.
