How is this pose? I'm not too familiar with anatomy so I need some guidance to get this looking right before I continue.

Looks nice. Although it almost looks like hes taking a dump.
![]() You need to make his arm on the left side bigger and his leg on the right bigger. his knee is also way too low. Try making a character that just stands and then try to bend it. That way it works out better instead of just going to make it from scratch. What i also encourage is drawing it first. ![]() |

Actually, I think his right leg is a bit too large- his thigh seems very toned and muscular (unless you're going for a guy who spends half his day on the leg press :P)
If you want a completely perfect anatomy, I think his head is a bit too square at the top as well, but other than those two things it looks really good. Hope this piece turns out well ^.^ Edited by floyd - 01 August 2008 at 2:19pm |

Okay well since I've got it up to snuff I've moved on to coloring and shading.
I'm not sure whether I should keep the black lines or not. ![]() |

The outline lines I think you should change to a dark brown, and I think all the tone lines (like on his knees) you should change to a light outline, but what do I know? Mess around with stuff, see how it looks.
The coloring and shading looks great! Edited by floyd - 01 August 2008 at 4:01pm |

Thanks for the darker skin tone as an outline idea, it worked out great.
I might submit this if you guys find it satisfactory, just needs a background. ![]() |

Nice! Yeah the lines look great. Is he a boxer? He looks like he's in a boxing pose- you should draw shorts on him or something, maybe just thin shorts to mid-thigh length or something. I don't know of any guys who practice boxing in the nude :P

I wasn't really going for a boxer, but that was a good idea. :)
Let me know what you think. ![]() |

His left foot looks like it's twisted away from the view. >.o Ow. Lower his right nipple, I think. Otherwise, I think it looks good...
