![]() The rose is too big, and it has terrible shading. This is a really personal piece, and will be seen for god knows how long in the future, so I want it to be its best. I'm not entirely sure where to go from here, though. Help is very much appreciated. |

I think you need to find a reference - your rose looks like sheets of paper rolled up together.
Google it , Look closely at the petals - they are tighter at the center, and the looser ones don't go straight up, but rather open up, and the edges a curled... Just study the shapes first, because if you're gonna make stuff up from your head, it'll never look right without some good previous observations |
