"ello again, Pixeljoint~


So I've had enough of just sittin' around and critiqin other folks pixels, and finally felt inspired enough to do some pixelin of my own


This is for a game idea I had a while back, starring Twee, a reoccurring little character of mine. I had created a cast of kids and thought back to my days playing pretend and such, and thought it'd be a pretty good basis for a Wonderboy In Monster World-esc game (which was one of my favorites as a kid). For example, a cardboard tube becomes a sword, teddy bears and such become enemies, and (my personal favorite) the inevitable multi-stage final boss fight is so because of silly children arguments ala "Nuh-uh you didn't win I have another life AND now i have a GREEN shield which is WAY stronger than a RED shield", and other made-up-on-the-spot gibberish, which we always used to do on the playground to try to BS our way into 'winning'.


So anyway, i started spritin' a few ideas today. Started with Twee, edited the new sprite from my older space-Twee sprite, and doodled out some other ideas, including one of the other kids (who's color scheme i just stole and reversed from twee cuz i have to get up in the morning so whatever, that can wait <<)




In my mind, the beaver enemy would be invincible from behind, and the bear would fluff up and let out a huge roar to blow you back and shoot out fluff projectiles~ they'll both need to be redrawn and all, but eh, it's a start.




So yeah, any comments or critiques or thoughts or whatever is all gravy, ya dig?

Thanks :D. and yeah, when i decided on a Tunic for her her main color was already green, so I consciously decided to make it more like Link's old outfit (brown undershirt, green tunic)

You've somehow managed to make Twee even more adorable! What can I say, except that this is really great stuff, and I look forward to what you do with it. :)
