Wow, that looks real cool. Only thing I don't like is that road thing. I think that, being a war game, units should be able to go anywhere, but that is just my opinion. I really like the graphics though.

looks great.. but yeah, the road... get rid of those disjointing lines between them and detail it up a bit more and it'll fit right in

Infantry can enter houses, tanks sometimes :-) the grid (that comes out ugly at the street) has proved to be very usefull when it comes to gaming. Edited by dr.feng |

maybe the grid looks bad on the streets because the streets themselves are very plain, causing the grid to pop out alot. maybe if you texture the road a bit, or blend in the grid a bit more, it'll look better what could work as well is to just have the corners of the tiles showing grid. and personally, i think the HUD could be improved a bit more |

the grid (that comes out ugly at the street) has proved to be very usefull when it comes to gaming. That was my point! Having a turn-based game makes it even more necessary to use tiles... |

This looks really good! But I agree that the roads and HUD need more work.
I think a cobblestone sort of road would fit in much better. And some texturing of the HUD would really help instead of the plain, stark red and white. |
