Message

   Hey guys! tell me wat u think about my glow effect. also, i need help with a clash effect so can you help me with that too? o yeah most people want to do the whole pixel art themselves but i dont care if you make the clash for me.

the glow effects i have done  so for are green, red, blue, penari(yellow, but the saber type is called a penari lightsaber) and purple

	i don't think that you really need that many shade to pull a glow effect. With only using a third of the colors you should be able to make it look realistic...

	I think there's more to a lightsaber look than the outer colour glow. It's a light, remember, so add a lil blend inside aswel (lol... er.. i dont know why that links but... heh) Edited by Larwick

	yeah like how Fhqwhgads showed you. there are only two colors but essencially the same effect. And off of what Larwick said, the general star wars lightsaber does not have to much melding between the white and such, it does have a little, but what it does need is a little tinting of the white to red. very slight tint... 	ok dude, first of all...light sabers arent real so its gonna be hard to get it to look pretty realistic as you say. and considering your piece has a sh*t load of colours and foogoogads has 3, i suggest you work with a simple design.

	FYI, i never wanted any1 to make it for me i just want some ideas, and FYI i have tried several attempts in making the clash, so dont think i havent ever tried, so chill out im not some hobo who has every1 do everything for him. also, you want to see a lot of colors? well here you go:

	he didnt mean that you didnt try, he just meant that you should post your attempts here and then we'll be able to point out things and give you tips and stuff. Cause right now we can't really help with anything since we don't know what you're having troubles with

	oh, ok and im sorry i got all angry. i just dont like it when people accuse me of trying to get other people to do things for me EDIT:here is kind of my "easy way out" clash. i used adobe image ready to do it. also, i know the luke and vader sprites arent mine im only usin them for demonstrational purposes only Edited by {TGH}Jedi-Sam

	Thats not pixelart :O You should try to do something more like that. Alright i admit it i did it really fast, and i could of made it much better, but the basic concept is there, a clash is a light spark. so make a while blob with sparkles and stuff flying around. thats it. Its a pain to animate i give that to you but its worth it. the result is much better than a filter from adobe image ready. Btw it looks better on a darker background. but i was im too lazy to fix that detail Edited by Di0xygen
