I'd like to know more about tile sets. How do you PJers use them?

As I understand, they are used in game design so the program can pull the images to build the levels. I don't intend to build a game but I think they could be useful and fun.

I'm more interested in the creation and other applications of tiles.

• Repeating Patterns
• Reusable Resources
• Consistency in Style

Any information is appreciated.
