Greetings, all! I come seeking some assistance with a project I've had in the works with a few good friends for some time. It's a pretty simple one and won't involve any extended commitment beyond this request!

My friends and I have a geeky a cappella group on YouTube. We exist all around the country (well, we exist in two different states) and record all of our stuff remotely and do all the production from one spot. We were originally running a video game theme and we each wore superhero-esque masks. We've decided to branch out to more than just video game music, however, and are looking to rebrand ourselves as an all-nerdy a cappella group.

Part of the rebranding is going to involve upgrading our look and feel, including a new name. What I'd like, if possible, is if one of you talented individuals would like to make a sprite of each of us (there are five members in the group; we've been in talks with a sixth, who may join up, but he's been MIA, so I wouldn't count him in just yet). Right now, I'm not looking for a full banner ad; just the sprites that we can use in making one. However, if you'd rather do the full ad, we can talk about that!

Sadly, we have absolutely no money to offer at this point and I'm asking only out of any kind of sheer favor. We would, of course, credit you on our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts and link to whatever pages you would like! With that in mind, although I would prefer the sprites be in the style of Street Fighter II fighters, I'd also be happy with a smaller-scale sprite, maybe along the lines of Final Fantasy V or Link to the Past. Basically, I'm looking for them to be evocative of video games and to have some internal consistency amongst the sprites.

If you're interested or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! We can hammer out details via PM; I'm definitely willing to be flexible with you guys!

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of work is made!

Yeah! I actually hadn't ever heard of them, but exactly! The only real difference is that we're all digital, whereas they perform live.
