Hi everyone,
I want to introduce you to a video game project I'm working named "Naica". As written in the title it's an MMORPG 2D in pixel art developed for mobiles (Android & iOS). The visuals and animations are done on Aseprite and the designer is working on making the animation as smooth as possible (so it's a lot more work). For example :  Just a few pictures :   We started to work on the level design for the first map and if you are interested on getting more informations we have a Facebook page and a Twitter account for Naica ! Are you looking for feedback on them, or are you just looking to promote your project? If the latter, I will move this thread to the diversions forum. If the former, I recommend posting the images unscaled, the forum has a zoom function (click on image) |

Quick update : we are slowly starting the level design of Naica ! I really want to see what it's look like in "real" and show it to you :) For the animations, only the fox is almost fully animated so that's why you will see him a lot !

The first playtest in Pre-Alpha will be held on June 8th at 6:00pm (CEST) ! Make sure you joined our Discord to have a chance to be one of the players !

Since our last newsletter, a few things have happened for Naïca: we have been to the DreamHack Tours in May, we slowly but steadily progressed on the sound & music side and we launched a big testing phase for Naïca.

Greetings adventurers!
The past months, many players have expressed their desire to support us through a donation: it is now possible ! Donations made by players will help us build the world of Naïca, allow us to grow faster and help us keep our independance. On top of that, every donator will receive exclusive rewards. The closed Alpha will be released in the coming months. Access will be sent to players on a regular basis, per wave. If you make a donation, you will be prioritized. Every rewards will be available once the game is officially released (after the closed Alpha and the Beta). Every release date is an estimation and can be subject to change.
