...freky?
I think it's cute. Something that stands out for me is its jumping, it's not natural. It looks like it's just floating, not that its legs are assisting its lift at all. |

To fix the floaty jump animation you gotta think about how you jump. Yeah, you've got the first part right, the crouching down. Next? the spring up! I know, just add the reverse of what I've already got! NO! BAD ANIMATOR! The spring up is how you actually get the force to go up, so what you've gotta do is get every ounce of effort into the jump. That means fully stretched legs, straightened-out feet, and bent toes untill he leaves the ground. Then, in the air, the legs slowly retract to their regular position, and give a little shock of the landing upon landing. And the body, when it crouches, should go straight down. And then the bounce. The falling speed could be a little faster, we're still stuck on the floatiness. And when he lands, he makes a good squish. (If you really wanted, you could make it taller as it is falling.) And yeah, you animated the squish nicely, BUT, I know, I'll just add what I've got again! NO! BAD ANIMATOR! The second squish isnt going to be so harsh, and the bounce should have been absorbed by its squishyness, so it probably should stay on the ground. (wow, and I yelled about being lazy... look at my animation! LOOK AT IT! I never get to yell about laziness again) Edited by Saboteur |
