I was bored. Anyways these sprites all all mine and are original.

Spiderman as he would appear in a Pokemon game. Spiderman is made by me and is an original sprite (non-edit or anything).

Mario's Portrait. 90% done still needs some adjusting.

DK's Portrait. 90% done still needs some adjusting.

Kirby's Portrait. 80% done. I'm going to smooth him out a bit more and make his feet look better.

Link's Portrait. 50% done. He look right yet. Link is hard. lol still got a lot of work left on him.

the spider man is pretty good, but please PLEASE remove the random black dots. allso, he doesnt have outlines like the real pokeymon sprites have

the portraits have weird shading going on. including but not limited to pillowshading

I asked about the "dots" on another forum and they were unhelpful. My monitor is blurry so the dots do what they're supposed to do, simulate the lined web designs, however not everyone has a blurry monitor :P.

I have no idea what PillowShading is.

the spiderman looks pretty good, but Snader is right, you should remove the dots. You should make lines instead. It may look messy if you only use black so experiment with other colors like darkbrown.

Also, you should remove the link in the images of the portrait, it's pretty annoying.(do it the way you did it with the spiderman, that image doesn't link to another site when clicked)

I blame the forum code. It's t3h glitchy. Every time I show an image it tries to make it into a link for some reason...

Umm.. where the hell did you find something saying to post like that? I see nothing in the help guide.
Seriously though, if you can't be bothered to place a proper tag, let alone buy a new monitor, you should think about taking some time off until you resolve these things.

pixelblink is the admin of the whole forum, just to tell you. and also the people here have lives to live on, they're busy people, and their patience can be short, so instead of trying to get away with things, just cooperate with them and everything will be fine.
just also to tell you, this forum is the same with other forums (i'm part of 4 forums, including this) and in my experience, all of them are the same, just some minor differences on the layout of the site, but the same BBcode is used. i think you've been using html too much that you're not bothering to check the site you're on. also, i think you should change your resolution or the monitor. which resolution are you at?

on the sprites, the black dots on spiderman look wierd. also i just think that he's out of place from the pokemon pic...

on the other pictures, the link does annoy me too. but it's good, but too much pillow shading. are they really that smooth? i don't think so...

keep it up, change your ways and follow the rules. if you don't want then don't...

My edit:

Don't AA out of the edges, AA into them. If you stick pixels around the lines, it gives it an unnecessary fuzzy look and makes the image looks bigger than it should. If this is a certain style your trying to go for, then I'm sorry.

When I first looked at mario, I thought there was no shading on his cap. Make sure there's good contrast between your colors.
