I dunno I guess it's the recent emo outrage at PJ made me wonder about the emo phenomenon.
somehow I just don't get it.
yeah so when I was in my teens there were always dudes who did nuthin but complain bout their lives. but trust me they were never as bad and CORNY!! as the emo generation.
 
and WTFFFF is with that goddamn music? I mean cmon.. when I have a sh*tty day I can listen to Stone Temple Pilots, G'n'R or owell, Michael Jackson (YEAH. laugh at me.) and MOVE the f**k on.
or I can go the other route and listen to Bad Brains. yeeeeaah.
 
but I can't stand that new 'emo' sh*t!!!!
wtf?
am I already an old fart? or am I just grown up? hmm.

I would have to agree with you on all parts Mykola, emos are getting more and more whiny and compete with each other to see who is the whiniest.


I have met a few girls who have pulled it off well and thus brought out their inner cuteness/whatever, but those were rare cases.

The most annoying thing about this emo trend is that they are people with no REAL worries or troubles in their lives.  I agree with Leel.

@Muffin: there's no such thing as emo jazz. don't make me laugh. this term was made up by emo's to call bluesy jazz (such as the Blue Note catalog etc.), like if it has anything to do with emo. it DOESNT. Jazz is real music. Emo isn't. kthnx.
 
then again if by emo jazz you mean certain stuff by Last Night In Town or Alkaline trio, then yeah! I'll keep on dissin

Well, i knew a lad who was a Wemo *Wannabe emo* and he tried slitting himself but never got round to doing it.
He then tried commiting suicide on cam to my friend with a scarf to the nexk. But he wanted to jump off his bed. Unluckily the bed was small and the scarf snapped.

WTF! Alkaline Trio are not emo. They are f**kin awesom.

I hate the fact all emo's look the same, with tight jeans and dyed black, straight hair. MY HAIR IS NATURALLY LIKE DAT. Which is annoying because i get called emo.
