Who are your favourite pixel joint pixellers? Just thought it would be interesting to see what people said :P

Mine would have to be Bisque, St0ven and Chesheyre.

I dont think this is a good idea because it might offend some people. I know most of us are old enough to take it, but it might be offending to some people who might take it wrong.

I don't really think this would offend anyone, since it's about your favourite PJ pixelers, and not about your least favourite PJ pixelers.

Ya, but some people might be like, hey, why doesn't anyone like me. So, I think it would just be best to keep these thoughts to yourself or talk about them over another messaging system. There are alot of awsome pixel artists here, and we all know that.

Well, I think its a cool idea, dont delete it, it could be cool to hear what people think, but my advise is, if anyone seems to start getting upset or annoyed, get one of the mods to delete it.

I don't think I'm anywhere neeeeaaar as good as Cait AKA Bisque or even the others listed. Very flattered.

If this thread has ONE single post of 'aaw i geuss no1 likes me' then it's dead. I see this thread as harmless (yeah just because I'm listed right XD haha - no.) because the only danger is ego inflation - and frankly there are medical ways around that.

My favs are ISTVAN, Bisque and Sedge.

Morganne wins my tips. No, not for the naked fairy, but for the awesome scenes that she(?) put together.

Sedge also gets some tips for his absurdly small palettes, the range of characters he brains with his up think, and the fact that he does peices well and frequently.

Honestly, I can't see this thread lasting for long but, I'll just say that I'm an isometric enthusiast and therefore 3 of my faves here are Zi-, howling and ryan-gfx. Of course, there are so many artists that I could mention but I won't.

I could never have a "favorite."  THere are to many styles out there for me to pick one or even 10 overall the rest.

This is a touchie thread I suppose.  It's like picking your favorite child, lol.

I enjoy different artists for different reasons... just today I was admiring the amazing backgrounds of Niss and Morganne.  Dithering styles are fun to watch evolve... Blick and st0ven  (that bastard is too good) are obviously top notch, but any artist who pushes different styles is a treat for me.  If I were to go by subject matter I think So-lou would have to be my fave (TNBC, Horror movies, Kill Bill, Simpsons, Jessica Rabbit) although some of pixelblink's non-iso animations are genius as well. Pretty much any iso artist amazes me since I'm a total newbie at it. Got to throw props to my boy iSTVAN for trying everything out especially his work with tiny palettes.

Grrr, I could go on all day.  There's probably 100 pixellers I would consider favorite artists. I know that's a wishy-washy response, but it's actually true.

I figure I'm gonna nix my previous post. My favoriteness vote goes to the 1000 monkeys in a room with 1000 computers for a few years. Eventually, they would make something that would be better than all of ours. If they could even open MSpaint, that is.

And Sedge, you win the tiny palette competition. You made a bear out of two colours. TWO!

wow! i'm on that list! yay!

Really though, I may not be anybody's fav pixeller but thats alright with me.  I'd rather be good at everything than REALLY good at just one thing.  I do just about anything from performing arts to visual arts, from sports to computer science.  It ends up  being fun that way.

I agree with blink, but if i had to choose my top 2 it'd be...
1) Kon
2) Stoven

EDIT:
hmm.. i dont think kon is a pixeljoint member....meh....oh well

Niss, Bisque, Morganne, St0ven, and The B.O.B

I am not even going to try to pick. Of course there are some artists that never disappoints you, but that doesn't mean they have to be a favourite. Everyone is a master of their own style, and I never get tired at looking at new art. Some people master the dithering techniques while others master the cellshading techniques. Some pixel in a cartoon style while others go for realistic. Some do isometric and some don't. Some use 256 colors while others use only two. Some are one-hit wonders while others spit out a masterpiece each weekend.

See my point? I can't choose, you're all good at what you're doing

Always remember that you are unique. Just like everybody else.

Garage Inc: I dont think there is anyone here that could say their
lives are totally devoted to pixel art...

The favourites thing is just really based on respect for their work,
nothing to do with personality or how much effort an artist puts in so
I dont see why anyone would get offended.

My two faves are Bisque, for her awesomely smooth palattes and
oddball subject matter, and Morganne, for similar reasons. These two
foxy ladies of pixelling can't be beat!

Zachriel: No ones asking you to vote for president- you can have as
many favourites as you want.

Anyway, I do think this topic is a little redundant for the fact that if
you really wanted to know who people favoured you can simply click
on their favourites section over at the gallery. I think its probably a
better indication of people's favourite works.

My fave, without a doubt ( as in best artist imo) is....*drum roll............PXERIN  Her stuff just blows my mind.  With as few colours as 16 can make a scene that would seem to take hundreds and some veryworked and detailed pixels :).

Edit:  I totally take back what I said, she stole the art she had up on Deviant art  Very dissapointing.

St0ven for the win, he is a masterful and proffessional pixelist, if browsed trough most of his unrealeased works and they are all great, and they go from FFT syle isometrics and perfectly exectuted non-isometric art. he have style he have technique. He is not perfect he still have many things to learn but he is a tick higher then pretty much everyone here(not to offend anyone) but his proffesional experience(he worked one over 10 games) give him the experience not a lot of us will have.

humm. I have difficulty choosing because most people here seem focused on pixels over overall artistic value, theme, or integration. So while there are a number of people here who have better technique than me, I have not found many who are clearly artistically better.

Shoba looks like someone who will go far if they maintain consistent productiveness.

Other than that, i haven't really found anyone here (or on pixelation, except Tsugumo) who impresses me greatly.

I can't pick any favorites at all, mainly because I'd probably end up naming most of them on the site, which would be too hard to do.
As long as the pixel art isn't stolen, or isn't just crap drawn in MS paint with the pencil tool on x1 view, it's probably good.
