I allways wanted to have a pixelation portrait avatar :)

I started working on the challenge, and after I had made my idea I tought, why dont I read the rules twice this time!
I figured out animation was not allowed..
my idea was to create a pixelation avatar, and then let it flash into some fantasy creature self portrait and some other things.. But since im very proud of what I have done allready, I want to continue, and maybe ill get some other idea to combine this or something else with a fantasy portrait :)

	pay more attention to the shapes, like the chin for example. It goes more in, and at the end is more square. Lips are too big too.

	I'd have gone the other way; widening the chin. You look a bit like you're puckering now. You have a very distinct square chin and I just don't see it in this portrait. (sorry if my replies are terse; I'm at work)

	1) I think the bridge of your nose needs to extend by 1 px 2) Your cheeks look too fat (you have a well-defined jaw judging from the ref) 3) I think your lips are shaped oddly, like they need to be more turned down at the corners. 4) You chin maybe should come up 1 px (not sure about this) Diggin' it so far

	Id suggest you make the neck less wide at the lower part.. it should be more straight... (I looked at other pixelation avvies for mine, might work for you as well)... i would also change the "adamsappel" (couldn't find the english word, but you know what i mean i guess?) also, you might want to make the hair a bit less smooth beneith/behind the ears... The eyebrows could also be a little less like a bow, cause i see its a bit more flat instead of round on the inner sides (at the nose). It doesn't look completely like you... but i had the same problem... i always found it hard making faces right from the front, and the size is quite small to achive a finish that looks like yourself. 	Thanks for your comment varock! Ill see if I can make an update for those things you noted later, but not this weekend, I cant work on it then.. This evening I started working on fase 2.. Its the way I allways look in any game, and on the other 'selfportraits' I made... Red cap, Green more squary glasses, and a yellow sweater (just as the photo shows, I look alot like this in real :p.. but my green glasses are too small for me.. but they looked better than those...) IT COMPLETELY SUCKS! Ok I did not spend much time on it yet.. but id really like to see a simple edit of how I have to do this!! I searched for referrences on people with caps on their head but they are hard to find

	it depends what kind of cap ur talking about, if u mean those gangster caps or those caps curved at the rim?

	This time a non rushed version.. Also I have darkened the lips, also in the origional version tell me if you like them. EDIT: EDIT2: hmm.. those glasses where hard.. I had to change eyebrows, they looked very weird.. but does it still look like me now? and does it matter? after all thisone does not have to look like me... However its still far from finished.. 	Looking good. Glasses lenses blend into the skin though. Maybe some highlight on the bottom edge (even if not realistic) might help.

	very unrealistic.. EDIT: oops wrong image.. This is the right one: @Pridac: This time I work with Graphicsgale.. but thats only because I wanted to use layers for hair and background... normally im working with paint (however im slowly moving over to graphics gale totally..
