I want to animate it properly. Main things that I want to improve are skirt, movement of a gun and one pixel 'jumping' (don't know how it's called, but I'd want to make it more smooth if it is possible). NO ATTENTION TO HAIR at this point as I'll work on it at very final stages.
Possibly you already seen this character in my mockups as following:

if you watch just the legs it looks like she's pulling her legs in and kecking them back. Not running just kicking.

It's nice. I'v never done a person before so keep it up!

I remember baccaman saying that using an odd number of frames or slightly changing the angle of her to the side are two good ways to get rid of strobing. By the way, I like the animated shine on the gun.

I was told previously that this effect makes brain work harder as it may be understood, but it takes time, so it is not very good. Or did you recognized it as gun making angles to viewer right from the start?

you should use the hair's movement in order to emphasise the recoil(that's the name) of his steps. the problem is, that torso and legs doesn't seem to ve connected, and at some point i would say they were animated separately. you need to unificate both sequences in order to get rid of this issue. her whole body should go up and down in each step, and that means that you should eliminate the 1px down movement that the torso makes at some point.

posting the animation as a sequence would make comments and edits much easier i believe.

also, the gun's shinning doesn't work in my opinion with the movement of the arm. while the arm suggest movement, the gun doesn't. its more like the gun was made of glass or something. instead, the gun has to angle to the viewer's side and oposite. that would be more credible. (it isn't that hard)

What problem I have here is that skirt hides connection between legs and the torso, so you can see the leg only as shape of skirt.
I think that I got sequence right (up when both legs in the air)

I'll update pics next time.

I'm looking at the dress... Aha, you extended it by lowering lower half of the pic by one pixel... I begin to understand what you meant by 'animated separately'. When hiding upper half of your variant of picture, you can tell what is happening in upper half. In my pic the rythm is a bit off.
