CHALLENGE: Proportion Play

This week's challenge by Arachne  calls for pixelart where an animal is shown out of proportion to its surroundings.
This animal must be a true living animal which is not extinct.
For example, it could be a tiny giraffe eating your tulips, or an aquarium with whales in your living room or even enormous slugs coating the streets in slime.
Rules:
Canvas Size: No Restriction
Colors Palette: 16 colors Max.
Animation: No

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

I love the cat and the mini dude - but, i don't understand that background...? maybe it's just me. :)

and the ant hitting back is great but I find something missing on the ant, dunno what...?

Wow, it's been far too long since I've participated in any activities here at Pixel Joint. To keep things short, I've been busy with work and a pixeled flash game project.

Coming in slightly late in the game.. Here is my WIP which is the second time posting for a challenge and it will be the most challenging piece I've done so far.  This is the first image that came to mind after reading this weekly challenge..
