Aha, so here we see the main thing - to make shapes look recognisable. Change canvas size if needed.

Looking at the "snowy landscape" i think that  A.B. Laser is right,
you should work on making the objects in the scene easy to recognize.

The first thing you should do is find a photo with the object your trying to draw or a object like the one your trying to draw so you can see what the details of that object look like in real life.

here i made a example.

REF::BIG PHOTO.

PIXELPIC::SMALL PIC.


When you look at the ref pic you see that the sky under the clouds is a
darker blue than the sky above the clouds.

And another thing that you notice when looking at the ref pic is that
the clouds get smaller when they get farther away.

So then think what the scene your drawing has in it and then try and emulate what it would look like in real life.
