Hey, I'm Ben and I live in NZ, I moved here just over a year ago from England.

I like to play football (soccer to anyone not from the UK) and I love computers. I also love music and I play the drums.  Linkin Park rock.

 I've been on the joint for a few months now but I'm only just getting into the forum.

I'm Marq (although on all legal documents it's Mark), I live in Manchester, UK. I'll be 26 in Sept (2007). Found my roots in computers from an early age, was learning programming at 6.

Only been pixelling "seriously" for about 2 years, and over the past 9 months discovered my preference of 1 bit (2 colour) images. I guess I couldn't colour to save my life...

My main vice is programming, but when few of my mates were interesting in helping make games etc., I started delving into a bit of writing, music and pixels.

The writing is pretty faded now, although I have a story I hope to finish at some point (as it was designed for a game I was going to write).

My music always sounded crap, although there were a couple of tracks I thought were okay.

The pixels are still ongoing, although in my current game project, I've taken a back seat in the graphics (eg. I'm just coding). Although, lately, I've started to wonder how I can progress. I'm not saying my work is great, the opposite, just I don't know what to do to make it any better. Suggestions anybody?


Oh, and all of this with some nice heavy metal thrashing in the background. In fact, there's barely any time any day I do not have music on!

Hello everyone, SilverCosmos here.  Practically new to this pixel world and I'm hoping to learn much from everyone and hopefully submit my work to the gallery!  ^.^

Name's Bryant, I love pixel art and sprites. I just started messing with it all recently and I love checking out everyone elses work.

Um. I guess I'll try this 'introducing' thing. -.-; Here I go. I'm Megan and I'm 13, joy to the world. I live in the suburbs of the ghetto-est place in the whole world, Detroit. I am definitely sweet at drawing but I am probably the worst pixel artist in the world at the moment. I got into pixel art when I was playing my Jak games [yay Jak] and I was like, I wonder how they do that? So I planted my rear in the computer chair and used google! Oooooh. Breakin technology there, eh? Well this guy was all, 'Yeah I use this wierd high techy thing to take still pictures in games cuz I'm studying at this great school somewhere on planet earth' except he used bigger words. Alot bigger. Well back to my amazing story. I asked my mom if I could have one of those and she rejected me. Mind you I was 11, so I caught my older sisters stupid. Luckily its gone now, so I decided to create my own pixel art, yay me. So here I am today. I would post a picture but I don't feel like blinding people today. Sorry.

My name's Neil and I've just joined Pixel Joint because I'm writing my first game and was cheekily hoping that someone might be able to help me out with the graphics. I'm completely talentless when it comes to graphics, an this place looked nice and friendly :) Anyway, I'll post about the request in the relevant subforum.

I live in London, UK and recently graduated from the University of Bristol with an MSc in Advanced Computing. I'm currently looking for work in the software development industry, ideally something creative, gaming ideally.

I'm an avid gamer, currently working my way through Bioshock and loving every second. I'm a big Nintendo fan and love old school Sega. Favourite game ever is probably Super Mario World.
