yes, HOWEVER...
a. have you ever seen SOMEONE ELSE'S colored lineart in my gallery?
b. when coloring lineart, you color all of it.  when doing dolls, 50% of the work is already done for you...

what is more work, buying a house and changing the carpet and drapes, or buying a house that only the framing up?

it is one thing to make your own base, i am fine with that.  hell, i like to see people make thier own bases, it shows their talent.  but isn;t using someone elses or recoloring it is as same as a sprite edit?  to me, it shows a large lack of effort. 



i completely agree, on both counts.  i dont even consider most dolling as pixel art.  unless you make your own bases.  however, more and more dolls are being submitted here from people using other peoples bases.  i personaly think that if you didnt make the entire thing, it should not be in the gallery.
