I always used it, but I must agree with you: it sucks...

There it is the image directly from PixelJoint:

Photobucket removes pictures relatively soon, and in the past has compressed images badly.
I recommend imgur.com

It's also doesn't directly link to images but goes through a system of ugly funky scripts. (Which makes it not work with the browser I use for PJ).

Nice (Big-Ass!) tile :)

@pyrometal Thank you! :)

@Hapiel I don't think that it removes pictures (but if the picture's owner changes where the picture is stored, for example putting it in a subdirectory, the path will change resulting in a not-found image). However I found it hard sometimes to save images hosted there so I totally understand. Thank you for your suggestion.

@DawnBringer Thank you! :) Nice palette! ;)

@Pyro, Irena, Darchangel, and Arkan
 Great work! I've missed some awesome tiles.
@Irena
 Sinbad was one of my favs as a kid!
@Arkan
 What's the story for tile 1? It looks really cool, but I don't know the reference.
@Geci
 Happy Late Birthday!
First, I have an update to #86, since I somehow completely missed Irena's post about the tail and face. Thanks for the suggestion

Also, can I propose a small collab between tile 70 and 77? Since no one has done One Piece yet, I thought the StrawHats having a party would be a good touch, but there are to many to fit in one tile.

Anywho, I'll change it if no one wants to make the other 4 strawhats, but this is my WIP so far.
WIP #70

It is kinda busy with so many characters in it, so I'll likely move the characters around to make it clearer(or give one to tile 77 if they wanna take chopper or usopp), but I shouldn't move the edge of the tile to much more (Might add grass or something to make the characters stand out more though).

*edit
also, sketches of the other 4 aren't meant as a guide. Just sketched to far.

Thanks Curious!

I haven’t ever watched One Piece so can’t comment much, but as a general rule of thumb, you do your tile and let somone else decide for the other :)

Also maybe you can consider little (and more isometric) isles instead of a big 45 degrees one.

@Geci
I get what your saying, but it would be a bit of a shame to be missing some of the main characters. That's why I said I'll change theme for the tile if no one wants to do the other characters. (Or, just do the original 5). You're right though, so I'll finish the tile this way, and hope for the best!

Also, I'll change the island(s) up. I was worried how to make it look more Isometric since some of the characters are all over the place. Dunno how I didn't consider making the island more iso lol. I still have much to learn.

Here it is the tile 27:

@CuriousBeefJerky
Have you ever wondered about what hides behind in the antarctic ice?
You can find that out reading "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket" by Edgar Allan Poe (a 200 pages book)

In my tile (#1) I am spoilering the end of the book ... more or less...

SPOILER ALERT
After leaving the island inhabited by savages, the protagonist navigates through warm antarctic seas as long as he finds that tall snow-white-skinned figure...

"And now we rushed into the embraces of the cataract, where a
chasm threw itself open to receive us. But there arose in our pathway a shrouded
human figure, very far larger in its proportions than any dweller among men.
And the hue of the skin of the figure was of the perfect whiteness of the snow."

I wasn't really aware Poe did much but short poetry.. I'll have to see if I can find a copy to listen to. Really wish I still had time to read.. Thank you!

@CuriousBeefJerky You are welcome :)
(however is an old book... expect something not very realistic) ;)

@Gecimen
I'd like to do something in tile #17...
(I've got so many ideas... maybe I will produce all of them)

Edit: I couldn't wait... there it is the #17

... I will go to sleep now...

@Arkan
I"ve read a bit of Poe before, so it should be fine. Nice tiles though!

Another WIP for #70. Think I finally got the characters in good places. Also, if anyone has opinions about the floating platforms, I'm open for suggestions. Still not really happy with it so far.

@Arkan85 I really really love #17, you brought a lot of context to the ship and the new ghost sail looks amazing!

I love the board game idea too :D

@curious, the platform looks decent (normally I'd say it could use a little more detail but it wont be seen between the crowd) and the characters are well read even if I'm stranger to them. I think the tile looks good overall.

@Geci
Sorry, didn't mean that as the complete tile. I was just asking if anyone had any better ideas than a floating barge.
Here's the final version for now though. I'm happier with it now.

Thinking over it again, I might be a little greedy and do the other 4 strawhats somewhere else on the collab(just so I can draw them all), but I'll think about it for a day or two.

There's nothing wrong with that :)

Also for the future there are 2 extra yellow colours in your tile (in a + shape).

I know I'm already late with my tile but I have some deadlines in my own business. But after that, I'll return to the collaboration. And since it's the last tile on which I can work (again) I don't want to give up on it.

Btw, @Curious; @Arkan; Great work both of you!

I've been toying around with this WIP for tile 8. Not really sure if it fits though, so any feedback would be appreciated.

The spaceship (Arcadia) and characters are from Space Pirate Captain Harlock for reference, an old anime series.
Might drop this tile or change the theme if I can't make it fit.
Still mostly a sketch at this point though.

Here's the current WIP though.

Can anyone upload the full collab image to an image hosting service other than imgur and share the link please?
Imgur is blocked in my country and I can not see the current state of the collab.

Might be a bit before I can finish tile 8, but decided the spaceship wasn't as fitting as Sea God vs Sky God. Seems more to theme at least lol.

Just a rough sketch more or less, so feedback is welcome

@Arkan, Geci
Hehe, my arch was way off. I think I still need curve practice in iso. Much appreciation Arkan!

@Curious; Very nice! Can I say that a new attempt is better (IMO). Though, I like that little characters in the old image and since the Pyro will raise his horizon to align it with the rest of the image so and you will have some more space to add more details.:)

Here it is the tile #77

@CuriousBeefJerky I didn't follow your initial party sketch but I added Nami so I hope you are happy anyway.
I added Captain Harlock since you gave up about him (I had that idea even before seeing your spaceship w.i.p.)

@Irena Lol, I might finish the ship in my own time, but i agree. I'm gonna mostly start the tile from scratch, do a slightly larger Poseidon and Zeus, and raise the water. Don't have a lot of time right now, but I'll get back to it soon.

@Arkan Wasn't really a sketch of where to add them, so no worries. I might have to study your AA techniques though, cause your characters look good! Nice tile all around though. I'm glad their's another fan of One Piece and Captain Harlock lol. Didn't know if anyone would really know the Harlock reference.

Hi! Sorry for being silent for this long.
I have been trying to get two different colors of ocean to mix but can't get a good result. It looks very dirty with or without dithering. Do you have any suggestions?

@Theoden; You can try to close that upper bay with some rock formation. This is a natural way to separate two different types of water. Go with a shallower and smaller stone in that problematic corner. Just a suggestion.
