Been a while since I posted anything. Don't really do much pixel art anymore, so I thought I'd share some non-pixel art stuff. Here's some recent drawings and sketches:

Jeremy: I do very much agree with Dumbo. Love the piece, but the high contrast makes the original work better.

Last one is mechanical pencil, but I bumped up the contrast a bit too high in Photoshop so it looks way darker than it should.

Peeter, this is right up my alley! Skulls, symmetrical, mysterious! Nice!

I paint a lot instead of pixel these days. Haven't settled on a style so I do a lot of different stuff, here are two bodies of work I've made recently:

The first is a series involving grotesque carnivorous plants with Freudian themes.

And I've also been doing a lot of still lifes and plein air stuff to keep my eye sharp, mostly stuff in my backyard.

Coming up with a comic idea thingy in my head for her and some other characters, but I move pretty slow with this stuff :P

I miss seeing Jeremy, Cure, etc. NPA works here. I was hoping that I was the only one not creating anymore.

Gonna try to mock up a sprite for this character

A portrait I did of a family member in gouache, took a few hours I think. I was about to do the 'cure technique' of color reducing + pixelling over it but it seems very tedious.



Also the ear looks awful because it was for a school project and I never had time to fix it.
