its funny how a simple comment can create a very intense chain reaction in a very short time.

i dont wanna stray off topic for too much so ill make a very fast resume of the situation that happened for historical purpose

Scott(Jark) and matteo created deviantart, Angelo(spyed) joined up soon after. Scott did a most of the public relatioship, matteo did most of the programming, and scott did a lot of administrative work.(if my memory serves me well)

Recently, Matteo left his post for no apparent reason. Than soon after scott(jark) was condemmed to the same fate, his administrator status had been revoked.

By looking at emails that scott and spyed sent, this conclusion of what happened pop out. I do remember exactly the details, but we know that angelo(spyed) was  holding back the shares  of scott,  that his percentage was going down. There was a debate, and a lot of phone calls between the 2, and finally scott got kicked out.

There always was a point of view debates between scott and angelo. Scott wanted deviantart.com to be a place for the artists, and a place with services for them and opportunities to grow and become bigger, for instance have work representative from different compagny to hire artists over deviantart. Angelo wanted and still want, a more corporated site. A place where money can be made off artists back. For instance the Bandmerch, the print system, the summit, yes even tho the summit was for the artists, i beleive it was a much more of a big big money fontain off all the big ads and sponsors.

Finally the yelllow alien day was during the deviantart 5th birthday and was a tribute to scott, everyone(well supposed to) was submitting deviations avatars everything was yellow.
