I have the crappy ps2 version of Gradius III they took out sprites and replaced randomly them with 3d models here and there, it makes me sad. The only shooters I have for the SNES are UN Squadron and Darius Twin.
I usually never buy games for over 20 usd. I ebay them or go to pawn shops in town. I'm missing a lot of instruction booklets and cases though because many of my vintage games were second hand.  Edited by Pixel_Outlaw - 15 March 2007 at 2:39pm |

Back. I went to toys r us and rode the ferris wheel. My friend took some amazing pictures when we wondered the city during classes. I'll show soon :)

it IS the godfather ánd mother of all shoot em ups though. it was a new concept. new concepts are pretty much never perfectionalised.
its not fair to compare with games that came years later, that were based on games that were based on space invaders....

Galaga and Galaxian are far better. I still play them both today from time to time. I love Taito but the winner here is Namco...
