Updated 81 tile , unfortunately I have not had much time to tweak it as it should .

The snake looks good its just because its green too. Maybe experiment with the yellows in the palette?
In case you see it differently the green stuff is supposed to be smoke. |

Head enlarged, palette shifted. I'm having trouble getting the shading on the head to look smooth. Is this the kind of change you were referring to? What else needs changing?

The shading on the head part. I think it's only because you are seeing
the tile on its own, once you put in on the collab, it looks good.

Starting chipping away at it again. Really not sure if doing a boat is a good idea due to the brown colours fitting oddly together with the blue.
Anything I should switch or add? I might get rid of the dragon head thingy since it looks weird for it to be on only one side of the boat. Edited by ADrawingMan - 15 January 2015 at 2:25pm |

Ah I noticed you took out the shark fins (I can update my tile to reflect whatever changes you make). I like the sort of extra things you had before, made it feel a bit more spooky and that sharks were surrounding the boat.
I don't think the blue colors is the boat are too weird - it works quite well when the boat is going under the water. If you do take out the dragon head thingy maybe that'll give you more room for something happening in the water? I think you could also use some of the lighter colors (maybe the red or the teal green) to bring out the boat a bit. If that feels weird maybe like an encursted algae look? Hope that is helpful. |

Everything is going fine. Maybe you want to damage the whole thing a little. But the dragon-head is very good and adds meaning to the tile. You may want to lighten the whole boat (all colors except the water by one shade- just an option; I think the brown now is fine as well).
The damage looks good.. I really like the boat itself too. |

Huh. I'm stumped; both of my art programs claim that these colors are correct. Are there extra colors, or are some of the colors off? Also, what are you using to check?

It is likely that the png output is png24 instead of png8. Output as gif.

Sorry for taking so long to update, I couldn't think of what else to add to fill in more of the tile. The details boat are an excellent idea! @|||| I didn't really like the look of lighting everything up, but I did change the main highlight to the greenish colour instead of the brown -it makes it look slightly softer.
Not sure if the squid clutters it too much, but if I take it away it feels too empty with just the boat (and the squid still needs some more working on). @Aevis Thanks for the offer! I'll give you a shout if I need to do something like that. Edited by ADrawingMan - 21 January 2015 at 6:13am |

IM STILL ALIVE, I am completely lost with my tile I just cannot for the life of me get something down. Maybe 6 tiles is my limit :P.
