Another palette. This one's my 3rd, my warmest, my lowest in contrast, and probably my favourite so far. I tried to incorporate the greys into all of the ramps.

I think my palette should work for most stuff. though it has some problems, I don't want to work on it anymore. Here it is:

How are people making those cool palette example things? Do I need to do it by hand?

Any palette not complete with HEX codes were not added.
1 or 2 of you have broken images so check your entries.
If you have any updates please add the word UPDATE so that we can edit that post on page 1 which is the judging list.

Two another palettes from me:

Flyguy: That can be done in Photoshop. Just save your palette from the color table under image -- mode then open up any picture and index it with a custom palette file and turn dithering off.

Non white Bgs are fine...I suppose :(

The reason we ask for no black or white is so that the type and BG remain pure white and black.
We like to think these palettes will be used by others for their work and everyone uses different apps and have their set ways.
Not everyone has the ability to isolate or create index palettes by importing. The white/black we just think is a happy medium for all.
We always expect y'alls to find loopholes and ways around anything we do so we deal with it...so should all :D


@FlyGuy, PS does everything! It does the dishes and vacuums my home everyday and when I'm real nice I get a massage >.<

Here goes another one :)

Did some practice shading with my palette earlier today

The middle blue is great for in between the dark and medium greens.
Originally was going to be a tree, but shading leaves takes a lot of time that I don't have! I also had no good browns at that point, so the rest of it looked like an oversaturated popsicle stick!
*EDIT* just realized my new brown's need a lack of saturation.

Didn't get very much time to work on this, but, here is a palette that was originally inspired by colors in an oil slick:





A dark palette, perhaps good for night scene with neon lights?

I can see them fine.






Gave them all white backgrounds just in case, and upped font game.
