Yeah, you needs to use a pixel pic from your gallery in the main site, I think. Nice to see you here, Aleiav! You still remind me of a chipmunk, but that pic makes you look a lot like one of my cousins. I'm also anticipating my HS grad! Gah! And I turn 17 tommorow...so... Oh, and cheers Toerag mate! I was certainly the driving force behind my Black Hole comics. But you should also give a big thankyou to Jonny Smeby for hosting and promoting my comic on his site. Lo all. Im Matt. I usualy regular over on DA. I'm 18 and I'm from Wales

Hi folks. I'm Ashley. 17 years old, living near San Francisco, California.
When I noticed how much I enjoy looking at sprites of SNES games, and I decided to give it a try myself. So I altered a Megaman sprite. Death to Megaman edits. I've slowly been improving my skills since then. This summer I plan to focus my efforts on getting a lot better at this. I especially love checking out what others come up with too. I learned about Pixel Joint when, after a break from the internet, I went to Pixelation and it redirected me to some place called Art05. What happened? |

it's grown way stale. The work here is so much more original,

hello!
a friend i know from deviantart pointed me to this website, and i really liked what i saw - high-quality pixelart being showcased my productivity in pixelart comes and goes (i'm not sure in which planetary alignment it depends; i think a combination of saturn and pluto) - i don't currently have a website up, but most of my stuff can be seen at my deviantart profile geez, i feel like a spammer now, posting links like that well, it has been a while since i made some pixelart, but i think i'll get back into it sooner or later - most of what i do is isometric pixelart, although i'd love to get some sprites done, since they offer a lot more freedom i'm looking forward to being active here, it seems like a nice place edit: oh, and i like math Edited by kipton |

I'm new to pixelart. But not so stupid as to not know what a palette or
lighting is because my mumsy was an artist so i guess i have an "eye"
for art or whatever.
Im 14 from the U.S. but not proud of it. hmm.. I like classic rock and metal i guess. People say im all about the music. Fav bands Led zeppelin Ac/dc rolling stones the who the ramones van halen lynyrd skynyrd red hot chili peppers queen pink floyd etc. uhh.. I like barbeque chips! YAY! pictures... My eyeball. Thats the real color of my eyeball i just changed the color of my skin cause it looked crusty and shiny and gross. lmao  Hope that doesnt stretch the forums. Umm.. Welcome aboard Kirra! I too am having trouble getting into Pixel Academy at the moment, I havent read anywhere about it being down, but your conviction has...er...convinced me! My dad is also Australian...but than so is my mum...and myself. Have a nice stay at pixeljoint! Kipton, I too dig maths. I hated it until year 11, but I just scored 98% on my last test, so...nuff said. |

Hello! My name is Megan but I think those of you who know me know
me by Chesheyre (and probably know me from deviantart, eh?)
I'm a virgo, and will be 17 on August 31st! : )) I'm a junior in high school, and am, unfortunately, unemployed. I have a boyfriend (Kevin, or Mirudus on deviantart). I've been pixelling for just over a year now. I use MS Paint and a mouse and tablet (my mouse broke though so..). I'm 5'1", and of German, Austrian, and Irish descent. My favourite picture of me 3v4r. (You can see my l33t room. Well, part of it. The cool part.)  Sorry for givin' you the bird :P. Anyway. I stumbled onto this place a couple
days ago and ya'll are so cool. ^^ It actually inspired me
to pixel for the first time in months. : ))
Hmm.. What else? Oh yeah, when I graduate I plan to go to the Art Institute of California and major in Game Art and Design and minor in Graphic Design. :) I love volleyball and softball, and of course video games. Hi my names Keith, I“m english although I“ve been living in Spain for over 5 years. I“m 17 years old. Hmmmm, I not quite sure about posting a photo of me of here with all you wierdos looking at me Anyway, here“s the newest photo I have of me, it“s sucks but meh....at a water fight hehe :).

Funkapotamus: I totally remember that Bill Laimbeer game -- there was a 2v2 bball game that was very similar in the arcades that I used to love. Can't think of the name. Chesheyre: Damn that name is hard to spell. I hope you enjoy the art institute... it's really about as good a school as you can go to. Bear: Is that red eye or are you some sort of albino? Woo, someone from my hometown!
I'm new, so i'm not entirely sure where to post, but i'm Kritter, 20 years of age, and from Adelaide, Australia. I had already typed stuff but accidentally closed it. I'm doing a Game Art course (yes, it's a course now), but it mainly deals with 3D and digital stuff, which is fine, but i'd prefer Pixel art to be my career. Not too sure where I stand in terms of skills, not that great yet, since I don't get enough of a change to practice these days, but hopefully if I post here I may get more critique, i've got a Deviantart account, but the critique from there isn't that great. I've been pixelling stuff for a while, but not enough to be good at it. Not sure what else to say, aside from the fact that i'm a Nintendo and SEGA fanboy of sorts, and i'd post a pic of my ugly mug, but I haven't got one. |
