This is my name. Thats why I picked it as username. :P

Amelyth is my alter ego.. She is a character I have been working on over the years  and hope to illustrate at some point.. She likes to hit things with frying pans.. Rides a turtle everywhere throws little bunnies at her enemies and is a cat at heart.. Wherever she is is where she is meant to be... She is terribly curious and is glad when there is adventure to be found.. She will befriend the evil boss monsters because deep down its just that they get beaten up so much for being different and what society calls scary and monsterous so she decides to get to know them.. Especially if they drool or have tentacles or are firey..  There is no gravity or laws about time and space and logic is chaotic.. :D  Theres more  to it than that but ill let you get back to your pixels..

I chose this name because I wanted to make a break from my old usernames on other forums and galleries.. and because my efforts here are gonna be so ugly that there's no way I want my real name attached to them.

I chose DeProgrammer as a semi-gangster way of saying "The Programmer" (ie. Da Programmer) while mocking my own coding skills. It was first used in a game of Soldat against my mentor, who owns me, so I was trying to be modest. But I love to think about the other meanings it could have.

Originally, I used my real name on the 'net, but at some point I decided to change, but my email/IM accounts and website all have links between my new name and my real name. DPMM99 is a mix of DeProgrammer, my name, and my oldest email address (9 is my lucky number), and I use that for my instant messengers and whatnot. My website is the same thing but without the 99.

I kinda wish I had chosen something more rare, as DeProgrammer was taken on MySpace and a few other sites I've gone to...but that's why dpmm99 came about.

i picked mine for a few reasons:
- people used to say i had such bad luk it was like i cheated death. so when some cheats on someone they are considered there "x" so i named myself what i did. in all cases the dash just looked cooler to me.
- a side to me strives for death, chaos and destruction so death was a theme that seemed somewhat relevant at the time, also x is the shape of a ninja star. and is usually a letter which not only sounds cool but is usually added to a number of cool things i like.

there were a few other reasons but they aren't releveant and are kind of person jokes within friends, so...yeah thats mine done.

I actually used to call my cat "Mrmotaurus" for some reason, and "Mrmo Tarius" sounded like an interesting variation, so I decided to use it as my username here :P

The Legend of Zelda game series is my favorite of all time, and the octorok has been in every Zelda game in the series, and it's one of my favorite little creatures. I use it for almost everything else as well, like gamer names, and such.

My name is Emily in real life, and one day (when I was a "kid") I mixed up letters in my first and middle names... and came up with "Miily." I used it on a few sites, but other people kept calling me "Miley." In my head it sounded just like "Melee." So I've sort-of changed it over time. :P
