I totally forgot about the box, and I made it bigger so, now, it doesn't fit inside. Do you think I should resize it, place it lower or leave it this way?

Also, is it ok if it is a monomorphic animal? I mean, if there's no noticeable difference between the male and the female. Because there are lots of birds that have no difference between each other, and I really love that, but I'm not sure if i can do that, because it seems like I'm lazy and I'm not trying to make a difference between them, but I'm not, it's just that I love the way it looks when they look the same.

By the way, these are leafbirds.

Your creature looks wonderful so far, but you're going to need to make sure that it fits inside the box.

Also, the point of the challenge was not only creating a creature, but also creating a variation on a theme; having both genders appear to be from the same species, but at the same time having features which make each gender distinguishable. I think you should try showing at least some difference between the genders.

What's with the AA on the leaves' shadows? They appear to have been AA'd to a lighter background colour.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing this when its finished :)

I'm out of time for this one, unfortunately. Been too busy with urgent 3D modelling work to really get into it. A pity. I'll definitely finish it off sometime (probably without the background and just as single sprites).
